Is anyone else sick and tired of hearing about Tucson shootings?

I don't mean to sound hard hearted or lacking in respect for the unfortunate victims of this Tucson tragedy, but is anyone else but me sick of the Main Stream Media hypocrisy in pretending to be so concerned for the public wellbeing when in fact it is the Media who have made the national discourse a 'ratings game' in which they stir up controversy just so they can enrich themselves on the business end of things. The Media run interference for those who don't want any change in the availability of the guns we are awash in. Then when new shooting tragedies strike with clockwork regularity all the Media do is just harp on the grisly details ad-nauseam. Our whole country has a retarded culture in which we refuse to be reasonable about reforms such as rampant gun availability and we vote in politicians that waste money on huge military adventurism but then make cuts in social programs like Mental Health Services that could help prevent this kind of thing. Then the hypocrisy goes one step further and the press pretends to believe in God and prayer and they act as if everyone were helpless to do anything about preventing these tragedies, and they just show scenes of prayer and church and tears after each shooting instead of doing their job as investigative reporters and seeing what could be done to prevent future rampages from happening with sickening regularity. The media loves the circus event. It is just a sickening cycle of senseless outrages followed by highly publicized Presidential speeches and more national mourning and then more shootings. Where will all the national retardation about these problems stop and we start being adults seeing what can be done instead of being big babies that wallow in self pity because of problems our own apathy and political stupidity make happen over and over like a self-fulfilling prophecy? This is a travesty; The Press doesn't believe in God. Why do they show prayer and church services? Why the endless 'shoot-denounce-pray-shoot-more-yada-yad… Any comments? And if you're going to just attack to be nasty instead of giving your ideas, then buzz off and don't bother. You're part of the problem if you just attack because youi're a jerk.
