Pontiac Torrent vs. Saturn Vue?

The equinox, torrent, and XL-7 are just longer versions of the VUE. You should be able to get a great deal on an '07 VUE because dealers will want to clear the lots to make room for the new '08. As far as the '08 is concerned it seems decent, and it's not a full redesign. The basic chis is the same, the interior is 1000 percent improvement of the previous design. The engine choices are different, you can get the 2.4 ecotec 4cyl. the 3.5l ohv v-6 and the 3.6 dohc HF v-6. Both 6 cylinder engines come with the 6 speed automatic and you can get AWD with either, but not the 4 cyl. I have driven a few of the '08 VUE's and the are better than the 07, but i'm still not sold on the exterior look. However for '08 they no longer use plasitc body panels just metal so it looks better.
