What is the Tails Doll Curse?

Recently me and my brother have been reminiscing on childhood things and then he bought up Sonic R. Me and him used to play NON STOP, I even discovered the tails doll before him :P later i went on youtube to look up the soundtrack. I asked my brother if he can download "Can you Feel the Sunshine" and "Living in the City" for me, on my ipod and he did. I was happy until i found out he must have downloaded the wrong thing because what i herd was something backwards or some weird stuff. I try not to think about it because it was quite disturbing. At the end of the song it said " The Tails Doll Curse". What the hell? Where did this idea come from, I don't know anything about this, can you explain...My brother said something about me being trapped in Sonic R or something about my soul but I don't believe this.... thank you
