Helping Depressed, Addicted Mate?

Hi, My mate has been unemployed for months. He's depressed but addicted and I've suggested he seek help. He says ok but doesn't follow thru. I am so busy taking care of our family, working, trying to make ends meet. I feel sick from the stress and have my own depression from years of this lifestyle. He's apathetic, cold, unhelpful and angry. But he's instantly happy when his friends call and he's out doing his hobbies. He no longer sleeps in our bed and I've asked him about this--he says it's because he falls asleep watching tv but it's been months. He won't have with me (though men often tell me I look great) yet I find in our DVD player. He says I can't expect him to compliment me like before because we've been together for so long. He's distant to our child too. I don't know how to help him because I'm so worn out from stress and worry about utility shut off and rent being paid. He's been offered jobs but something always happens. He's only nice when he wants something.
